The Origins of Kumkumadi Thailam:

Kumkumadi Thailam, often referred to as Kumkumadi Oil, has its origins in Ayurveda, an ancient system of medicine that has been practiced in India from the time unknow. The word "Kumkumadi" is derived from "Kumkuma," which means saffron, and "adi," which means something that contains. This luxurious oil is traditionally crafted using a blend of potent natural ingredients, each selected for its unique skin-enhancing properties.

This oil also has some stories. According the reference text, this oil was used by Ashwini kumaras(twin gods. Aswini Devas are Divine healers and they are the gods of Ayurvedic Medicine).
